تَقَبَّلَ اللَّهُ مِنَّا وَمِنْكُمْ وَكُلُّ عَامٍ وَأَنْتُمْ بِخَيْرٍ

Taqabbalallāhu minnā wa minkum wa kullu ʿāmin wa antum bi-khayr.

 

This Eid al-Adha, MCARE facilitated the distribution of Qurban meat to 200 families in Mogadishu, that made possible by the generous support of the Republic of Türkiye through Mavi Marmara Association. This assistance brought relief to many families; MCARE has recognised that it reached a relatively small portion of those in need across Somalia, particularly marginalised communities in urban areas. Many households continue to face hardship, displacement, and limited access to charities and other basic services. Hence, the growing humanitarian needs remind us that much more remains to be done to ensure that no family is left behind during this blessed season.

 

At MCARE, we remain deeply committed to expanding our outreach, building partnerships, and mobilising greater support to reach more vulnerable and marginalised families across Somalia in the coming years. Our vision is not only to provide temporary assistance, but to restore dignity, hope, and community solidarity for those most in need.
